Sayin, also referred to as Talk Diary / SayIn in some app store materials, is a private journaling application developed by LET'S SHINE TECHNOLOGY CO., LTD. This policy explains how the app is designed to handle user information on iOS and Android, including distribution through Apple App Store and Google Play.

Overview

Sayin helps users create personal diary entries using text and voice input. The app is designed for a simple, privacy-first experience with core diary content stored on the user's device.

Data Handling

Sayin is designed so that core diary content is stored locally on the user’s device. Diary text, voice-derived text, local password settings, and related journal data are not uploaded to a LET'S SHINE cloud account for the core journaling function.

• The app does not require account registration.
• The app does not require cloud login.
• The app does not include in-app advertising.
• The app is not designed to use third-party tracking for advertising purposes.
• The app does not request contacts, SMS, health data, precise location, or advertising identifier access for the journaling features described here.

Permissions

Sayin may request access to the following device capabilities:

• Microphone, to support voice input when the user chooses to dictate a diary entry.
• Speech recognition, to convert spoken input into text where supported by the device, operating system, and system speech services.

Voice Input and Speech Recognition

When a user uses voice input, the app accesses microphone audio for the purpose of converting speech into diary text. Depending on the user's device, operating system, language settings, and speech recognition configuration, speech recognition may be processed by Apple, Google, or other operating-system speech services. LET'S SHINE does not use microphone access for advertising or background recording.

How Data Is Used

The app uses user input to create and manage diary entries inside the app. The app also uses a local password feature to help protect access to the app on the device. Diary content is used for app functionality selected by the user, such as writing, viewing, editing, and managing entries.

Network Services and Third-Party Services

Sayin does not require an online account or cloud login for core diary storage. Network access may occur when the app or user interacts with platform services, app store services, support pages, or system speech recognition services. Third-party services may include Apple or Google services that provide app distribution, operating-system speech recognition, crash/diagnostic handling, or platform-level functionality. LET'S SHINE does not use third-party advertising SDKs in Sayin for ad targeting.

Google Play Data Safety

• Data collection: Core diary content is stored locally on the device and is not collected by LET'S SHINE for cloud storage in the core journaling function.
• Data use: Diary text, voice input, and local settings are used to provide journaling, voice-to-text, editing, and local app protection features.
• Data sharing: LET'S SHINE does not sell diary content or share it for advertising. System speech recognition providers may process voice input when the user uses speech recognition.
• Encryption in transit: When network communication is used by platform services or support pages, transmission is expected to use secure transport such as HTTPS/TLS where supported by the service.
• Deletion requests: Users can delete diary entries or uninstall the app to remove locally stored app data from their device. If a user believes any support-related information was sent to LET'S SHINE and wants it deleted, contact support@letsshine.net.

Data Sharing

Sayin is not designed to sell personal data or share diary content with third parties for advertising purposes.

Retention and Deletion

Locally stored diary content remains on the user's device until the user edits it, deletes it, clears app data where supported by the operating system, or uninstalls the app. Support emails are retained only as needed to respond to support requests and handle related records.

Children’s Privacy

Sayin is not specifically directed to children.

Policy Updates

This privacy policy may be updated from time to time. The latest version will be made available through the app and/or the official website.
