SplitNest helps users manage shared household expenses, settlement records, member activity, and room collaboration in a clearer and more structured way.

Data Handling

SplitNest may use both local device storage and cloud-linked data handling depending on how the user uses the app.

• Household information, member records, expenses, settlements, and settings may be stored locally on the device.
• When sign-in, room binding, or cloud collaboration features are used, relevant records may also be synchronized through cloud service infrastructure.
• The current release uses Firebase-related services for sign-in, cloud data storage, and synchronization support.
• The app is not designed to sell personal data.
• The app is not designed to use third-party advertising trackers for ad targeting.

How Data Is Used

The app uses provided data to support room access, member coordination, expense tracking, settlement calculation, synchronization, backup-related actions, and product support.

Backup and Local Control

Users may use available in-app tools to export backup content, import backup content, clear local data, and manage household information. Users remain responsible for exported backup files after export.

Data Sharing

SplitNest is not designed to sell user data. Data may be processed by infrastructure providers as needed to support cloud-linked app functions when those functions are used.

Children’s Privacy

SplitNest is not specifically directed to children.
